How does accūrō Solutions’ rules engine compare to the competition?
Providing a rules engine that is sufficiently powerful to be highly useful, but not too difficult for a non-programmer to use, is complicated and requires specialized skill. We have clients who want to approve eBills, but not other bills. We can handle that.

We write rules that consider whether or not certain events have already occurred for the bill, and the result of those events. If the bill was approved by an adjuster, we would do one thing. If a bill was denied, we would do another.
Our ARC rules engine has two primary goals: manipulation of workflows and manipulation of data, both under various specific conditions. In conjunction with our client workflow configuration, the rules engine provides a way to create custom workflows, at times on a bill-by-bill basis. Our ARC platform routes bills based on claim, provider, state, eBill, client, employer, dollar value, etc. to various users or processes for additional review, or we can bypass manual review under other conditions. We offer great flexibility and the ability to apply rules at numerous points during the workflow, providing the ability to react dynamically as bills move through specified workflows.
