Throughout his career, Patrick has focused on building technical teams, systems, and workflows for healthcare billing and claims processing. His nearly 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation industry includes technical leadership roles at Universal SmartComp, Align Networks, Adva-Net, and as VP of Information Technology at Paradigm.

Sandy Corradi, CPC

About Sandy

Sandy Corradi currently holds the position of Director of Medical Bill Review. She has a distinguished career in the medical bill review industry spanning over 38 years.

In the past, Sandy held various significant roles such as the Assistant VP, Bill Review Services at CareWorks Managed Care. She also occupied leadership positions at Concentra Managed Care Services and National Healthcare Resources.

Sandy started her career with Travelers Insurance Company where she was responsible for processing group health claims.

Mike Knutter

About Mike

Mike Knutter currently holds the position of AVP, Operations. He holds a California Medical Bill Reviewer Certification.  With over 20 years of experience in the bill review industry, Mike has held several key positions. These include the Director of Bill Review Operations for Equian and various leadership roles at CorVel, ADP, Bass & Babb Companies, and Health Systems International. Most recently, he served as the Vice President and Co-Owner of Splashlight Solutions.

Mark Laffey

About Mark

Mark Laffey currently serves as a National Sales Executive. Mark began his insurance career handling casualty claims with Crawford and Company. He then pioneered national bill review sales at both Genex Services and Options. 

In 2001, Mark, along with BJ Dougherty, started Solutions4, which merged with MCMC, LLC. in 2003. Mark acted as the Vice President of MCMC, LLC for over 20 years and played a crucial role in transitioning the business into a significant force in the workers’ compensation industry.

Leah Miller currently holds the position of Controller. Leah has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years. She is skilled in the fields of finance, operational efficiencies, and system architecture. Leah’s previous roles include the Director of Corporate Operations at GENEX Services, Inc., and the Vice President of Accounting at AdvaNet/Paradigm.

Teri Mangus currently serves as a National Sales Executive. As a seasoned professional in the Medical Bill Review industry, Teri brings over 30 years of experience to her role. Her background in nursing led her to start and operate a successful medical review business for 18 years before it was acquired. Teri attributes her success to always being a client advocate and giving thoughtful consideration when developing programs.

Steve Junker currently serves as the Chief Information Officer. With over 25 years of experience in the managed care industry, Steve has focused on practical operational technology solutions in the areas of medical bill review, PPO application, analytics, document management, and payment management. His past positions include roles at Options, Universal SmartComp, MCMC, LLC., and Service First Medical.

About Ken

Ken Hannigan currently holds the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He previously served in the U.S. Army as a communication specialist. He has also held significant roles in various organizations, including Managed Care Director at General Accident Insurance, Director of Development at MedRisk, COO and President at Universal SmartComp, COO at Align Networks, CEO and President of Adva-Net, and CEO of Specialty Networks at Paradigm.

Lisa Gran

About Lisa

Lisa began her career in workers’ compensation 26 years ago at CorVel. She went on to become a co-owner at CompLogic and Health Solutions. In 2011, Lisa founded Splashlight Solutions, followed by Splashlight Rx in 2017.

Over the years, Lisa has consulted with clients to develop effective solutions in various areas, including bill review, PBM, PPO, wellbeing, and data analytics.

George Furlong

About George

George Furlong currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer.  With over 30 years of experience, George has held senior management positions with Managed Care Organizations, TPAs, and Carriers, with a focus on workers’ compensation claims management solutions and data analytics. His leadership positions include tenures at Sedgwick Claims Management, Universal SmartComp, Bunch and Associates, and Choice Medical Management.

Jeannette Dougherty, PMP

About Jeannette

Jeannette Dougherty currently serves as the VP of Project Management. She has a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

With over 20 years of experience in project management, Jeannette has held senior positions at large financial institutions. In these roles, she enhanced Change Management processes, provided risk oversight of top-tier programs, developed client implementation standards, and managed complex system development projects.

Dougherty’s past roles include a Project Management position at BNY Mellon and a position as a Senior Risk and Control Advisor at PNC.

  • Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship, University of Louisville
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Project Management Institute (PMI)

BJ Dougherty

About BJ

With over 30 years of experience in the medical bill review industry, BJ has held several notable positions. He served as the Senior Vice President of Bill Review Services at Careworks Managed Care and held various leadership roles at Sedgwick, Concentra Managed Care Services, and Corvel.

In 2001, BJ Dougherty and Mark Laffey co-founded Solutions4, a new bill review platform. They later merged with MCMC, LLC. in 2003.

Kathleen DePan

About Kathleen

With over 30 years of experience in the bill review industry, Kathleen has held numerous significant roles. She began her career at Options/NHR/Concentra where she managed medical billing to database design and analysis.

DePan was also a founding partner at Calculare Technologies, where she produced the proprietary bill review application for MCMC/York/Careworks. Later, she became the Manager of Data Services and Product Manager of both internal and external applications.

Education:

  • Attended Washington State University

Larry Brinton Jr.

About Larry

Larry previously held the position of Senior Vice President for MCMC, LLC Careworks Managed Care, where he worked for 14 years. He is the former Director of Workers’ Compensation for the Tennessee Department of Labor.

Later in his career, Larry transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Medical Bill Audits, Inc. He also served as the President of Prime Health Services, Inc.
