PURPOSE

A Vice President of Sales is responsible for new sales, assisting in the planning and development of new market growth. The VP of Sales is also responsible for assisting the Chief Sales Officer with sales strategies and leading the team to meet and exceed goals. accūrō Solutions is seeking talented, driven individuals to join our team in VP of Sales positions located in the East Coast, Middle America, and the West Coast.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, identifying prospects and evaluating opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Help develop sales department strategies, training staff, and setting goals.
  • Understand customer requirements and how accūrō’s technology can meet and surpass their needs.
  • Develop talent pool and train them in various techniques needed to reach KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to negotiate pricing and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with Client Services to professionally manage accounts to build long-term, loyal, and profitable customer relationships.
  • Maintain the sales process through accūrō’s CRM software.
  • Obtain additional knowledge and visibility through attending trade conferences and other industry events.
  • Meet and exceed sales performance metrics.
  • Lead sales department and manage sales operations.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as directed by the Executive Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least five (5) years Managed Care sales experience, preferably medical bill review sales.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex, service-based sales success in the workers’ compensation managed care market.
  • Proven experience of managing long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technology and interface with the Implementation and Operations Teams to document the customer requirements and ensure their needs are met.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software and CRM software.
